  1. I have one sibling of each-ish. One younger (a little brother), a middle (twin sister) and an elder (big brother). I am the alpha among my siblings (if you ask me), ruling with fear (especially early in the morning).
  2. When playing “Who in the room”, I am the one usually people don’t point at. Until questions like “who is the most likely to commit murder” or “who is the most likely to go to prison”, they all point to me. I have no idea on what kind of impression I’ve made on them.
  3. I walk so quietly that no one ever hears me come, seriously, there hardly goes a day without I giving a family member a heart-attack and scolding me for “being so quite”. On the other hand, they never let me call down someone who’s late for dinner, due to my “too sharp voice” (my parents had to go check their ears once because of my shouting as a kid). Family, they’re never happy, are they?
  4. I am terrible at maths, yet I am great at remembering numbers. For example, I still remember which platform and train cart (?) we were supposed to take with mom and sis, for about 13 years ago. And there was nothing special to it, can’t even remember where we were going. My mom just asked me to remember the numbers, aaand I did.
  5. I find it easier to understand classics in English than in Swedish, my native language.
  6. I almost fainted out of exhaustion after intensely reading The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson, non-stop.
  7. In my mind, everything has a life, a personality. From my foundation to the number 2. The number 2 is the sweetest, too good for this world, too pure. Not 9 however. 9 is a selfish, shady fucker who has a villainous crush on number 7. There’s a sort-of love triangle between 7, 8 and 9 in which both have a crush on 7, but 7 doesn’t know what it really feels and doesn’t know if it’s ready to commit to a relationship. Come to think of it, this may be why math is so goddam complicated to me.

  1. Thanks for the shout out, you’re so sweet!

OH MY GOD I AM THE SAME WITH THE QUIET WALKING THING! It drives my mom crazy! To the point where whenever I enter a room I usually say “HI MOM!” so she won’t turn around and have a heart attack when she sees me. (I don’t have the loud voice thing though, I actually have a really quiet voice and it annoys my parents that I don’t speak up more.)

And I’m the exact same with the bad at math/good at numbers thing!! I have such a good memory for numbers, but it’s been years since I’ve taken a math class and I’d probably be total shit at it at this point.

Haha, I love your last fact – you must have such an active imagination!!

    1. Oh.My.God finalllyyyy somebody who understands the struggle with walking soundlessly. I mean, it’s not our fault for not stomping like elephants?? I don’t even understand how they do it.
Haha yeah it’s good to remember number, but you’d wish you actually understood them 😂 Hahahh oh god my mind, well we all are a bit weird aren’t we. I have really no idea why I think so, it’s just I can’t look at something without giving it a personality. Funny thing is, I always saw my sister as an extraterrastrial as a kid. Something about her just wasn’t human… 😂

  2. Such a cool post, Ella! Honestly, your facts are out of this world and I wish I could come up with ones that are half as epic XD
Your poor, poor family and friends… Hahaha They sure have fun around you 😛
I think you might have a form of synestesia called ordinal-linguistic personification (or OLP), which is what makes you see numbers that way. You should look into it! It sounds pretty amazing.
Also, I hope it’s okay that I’m mentioning this. I definitely don’t want to offend you or anything! ^^ I just thought it was so interesting when you mentioned it! I see numbers as, well, numbers, which is super boring…

      1. Yay, I’m so glad!!! ❤ Oh, it's so great to have made your day better (I hope it was already pretty good from the start, though!)
And I'm really happy this piece of information was useful to you! You're definitely not alone. I've been hearing about it for a while now, and just the other day another blogger mentioned it in a post of theirs. So yeah, it's more common than we think!
I hope you get to find out more about it and yourself ^^ It's honestly quite cool!
