Finished! And New Books To Read –

Just finished both Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett and Mansfield Park by Jane Austen, so expect reviews coming up soon!

But what now? The next books I will be reading are the following;

  • The Picture Of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde (edition published by Penguin Group 2008)6411433

After hearing much praise about this book, I’m proud to finally pick it up and read it. This is mostly due to the fact that I do have to read it for a school project, but tbh this has got to be the best homework.

The Picture Of Dorian Gray is the story about a man who, upon enthralled by his own portrait, exchanges his soul for eternal beauty and youth. Only his portrait bears the traces of his decande…

This book sounds so good and upon reading the history around this book, only makes it so much greater. Can’t wait to start!

  • World Wihtout End by Ken Follett (edition published by Pan books 2014)19731953

Finally got my hands on the sequel to one of my absolute favorite books, The Pillars Of The Earth! Just holding it in my hands fill me with excitment… But this book is, just like his other book, very long (1256 pages) so will probably post updates on this book through my read.

“On the day after Halloween, in the year 1327, four children slip away from the cathedral city of Kingsbridge. They are a thief, a bully, a boy genius and a girl who wants to be a doctor. In the forest they see two men killed.  As adults, their lives will be braided together by ambition, love, greed and revenge.”

I’ve already started this book, and oh I want to cry I feel so nostalgic and excited from the first book. Knowing Follett, the characters and plot will NOT dissapoint me the least. After all, his book was the one that got me out of my reading slump after finishing Words Of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson.

***

I won’t be reading any more books for now, because I really need to focus on The Picture Of Dorian Grey to write my thesis on the book. But as soon as I’m finished with it, I plan on starting Arcanum Unbounded by Brandon Sanderson!
